DIY Wedding Fun with Your Bridesmaids
When my best friend Jule got married, I was her maid fof honor. Julie and her fiance didn’t have a lot of money, and knew that they had to have a DIY wedding in order to have what she wanted. And what she was lacking in nearby family to help her, she had me and her bridesmaids!
We got together every other week for a girls night, where we’d watch movies, eat pizza and help her with little things for her wedding. So when we were working on her wedding invitations, Julie would provide the dinner and movies and drinks and a small thank you favor, and I’d bring cardstock, Mary would bring glue and the decals, Lana brought the envelopes, and Sarah brought the toner. We’d spend the whole night together having fun and getting stuff done! It helped Julie a whole lot, and cost us almost nothing – we were glad to help.
