Kids and Internet Safety
As a teacher, I try my best to educate my students about the importance of spyware blockers. Kids and teens seem to be so carefree about posting their personal and private information online, and I guess this is a good form of self expression. But because they are so used to sharing their thoughts online, it rarely occurs to them that some of the games and apps they play on social networking sites could house software that is meant to find information on their computers that they may not mean to share. Every parent should sit down with their kid and have a serious talk about how to surf the web safely.
